Odessa, 11 AUGUST 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- Operatives of the Odessa region seized a cargo of grain, which on forged documents planned to be exported, worth nearly 18 million hryvnia, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, August 5, in the press service of the Main Department of the State Fiscal Service (SFS) in the Odessa region.

According to the press service, employees of the tax police GU SFS in the Odessa region, under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's office of Odessa region, in the framework of operation «Frontier», carried out a search on one of the cargo complexes in Odessa region. Revealed cargo of grain, according to the customs declaration, it was planned to be sent to «export». As it turned out, the grain belongs to one of the enterprises, which is registered in the Kiev region. The main activity of the specified enterprise is a wholesale of grain, unmanufactured tobacco, seeds and animal feeds. It was also revealed that during this year, the enterprise did not carry out foreign economic activity.

The press service added that was seized documentation (on the basis of which the grains were transported to the terminal) and a cargo: barley 3rd Class — 1 thousand 760 tons, wheat of the 3rd and 5th grade — 3 thousand 466 tons, totaling 17 million 708 thousand UAH.
