According to the press service, since the beginning of the year in sea ports and on the channels was dredged more than 3 million cubic meters, This figure already exceeds the volume of dredging for the entire 2015.

Today work is underway for maintenance dredging by the contractor «Technoliteracy Nikolaev» (dredgers «Severodvinskiy» and «Milford») in the Mariupol and Berdyansk sea ports. As of the end of August in the waters of Mariupol port, dredged a volume of 1 million cubic meters On the approach channel of Berdyansk seaport dredged 60 thousand cubic meters.

During the works, which will last 16 months, in the ports of the Azov sea will be removed about 4 million cubic meters of soil. Thus, it will support the depths required for maneuvering in ports.

Also dredging works in the sea port «Yuzhny» (357 thousand cubic meters since the beginning of the year), in Odessa sea port (34 thousand cubic meters) and in Belgorod-Dniester port. Work conducted by the company «Inflot-Danubius Agency» with a semicircular caravan «Staratel-1». In total, the port dredged in the amount of 540 thousand cubic meters.

As noted in the press-service, work is underway on the GSH «Danube-Black Sea» (235 thousand cubic meters) and in the Dnieper-Bug Liman channel (262 thousand cubic meters.). In the nearest future, the company plans to carry out of dredging on the approach channel of Illichevsk port and tenders for works in the Illichevsk sea port and in the port «Yuzhny».

«The infrastructure of all, without exception, seaports requires substantial investment. That is why from year to year, USPA increases the amount of conducted operational dredging.
