ODESSA, 3 SEPTEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Investigators of Prosecutor's office of the region reported a suspicion of negligence to two employees of the Odessa customs, through whose fault the budget has not received about 30 million of mandatory payments, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, September 3, in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of Odessa region.

According to the press service, the investigators of the regional Prosecutor's office reported about suspicion in office negligence to the two officials of the Odessa customs (part 2 of article 367 of the Criminal code of Ukraine).

It is established that in early 2016, the customs officers, working with e-returns declarations, did not check the correctness and released for free circulation of the goods (non-fermented tobacco raw materials). This led to the wrongful application of benefits for the payment of excise duty.

Due to the negligence of the customs officers the company is not listed in the budget more than 30 million UAH mandatory payments.
