ODESSA, 3 SEPTEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Czech Airlines over the years flying to the international airport «Odessa» has transported about 400 thousand passengers, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, September 3, in the press service of the International airport «Odessa».

As noted in the press service, yesterday, September 2, marks 80 years to the beginning of Czech Airlines flights to Ukraine — the first flight was made on 2 November 1936 on the route «Prague – Uzhgorod – Kiev». Since 1959, began operation of the route Prague – Kiev with stops in Bratislava and Lviv.

From 2006 to 2013, Czech Airlines airline operates direct flight from Odessa to Prague. After a short break, in April 2016 the airline has resumed direct flights between the two cities with a frequency of 3 times a week.

During the years of flights to Odessa International Airport, the flagship airline of the Czech Republic has transported about 400 thousand passengers. Now the line «Odessa – Prague» serves comfortable Airbus A319.

In August this year, the airline announced the continuation of cooperation with the Odessa airport on a year-round basis.
