NIKOLAEV, 7 SEPTEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — In January-August the total turnover of the companies operating on the territory of specialized sea port «Oktyabrsk» amounted to 3 million 603,6 thousand tons, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, September 7, in a press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

In a press-service reported that according to operational data, the total cargo turnover at the port for 8 months was 3 million 603,6 thousand tons, which was 79.4% compared to January-August 2015.

Liquid cargo in 8 months the port handled 34.3 thousand tons (459,2% against Jan-Aug 2015); bulk dry cargo — 2 million 899,12 thousand tons (84,1%); unitized cargo — 670,18 thousand tons (61.8%).

REFERENCE: Specialized sea port «Oktyabrsk» is located on the left Bank of the Dnepro-Bugsky estuary. The port area is 178,8 ha. For loading and unloading and maintenance of marine and river vessels the port has 7 berths with a total length of 1.53 km. The depth and length of the mooring line can take vessels up to 250 m, width up to 40 m, with a deadweight up to 80 thousand tons. The declared draught in the port is 10.5 m. Processing capacity of SSP «Oktyabrsk» is up to 5 million tons of general cargo per year.
