Odessa, 7 SEPTEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — In January-August the total turnover of the companies operating on the territory of Reni sea port amounted to 514,96 thousand tons, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, September 7, in a press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

In a press-service reported that according to operational data, the total cargo turnover at the port in January-July amounted to 514,96 thousand tons, which is 23,9% less than in the same period of 2015, when the turnover amounted to 676,45 thousand tons.

Liquid cargo handled for the period 66.46 thousand tons (59% against January to August 2015); bulk dry cargo — 444.7 thousand tons (79.2%), packaged unit — 3.8 thousand tons (185.4%).

REFERENCE: The territory of the Reni port consists of a fenced part of shoreline along the left bank of the Danube from 123.6 km to 128.3 km. The area of the port is 940 thousand sq. m. Depths on the roads range from 2 to 25 m. The design capacity of the port — 7.7 million tons.
