Odessa, 05 OCTOBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — In January-September the total turnover of public and private stevedoring companies working on the territory of the sea port «Yuzhny», amounted to 29 million 609,21 thousand tons, a decrease of 16.5% compared to the same period last year, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, October 05, in a press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

In a press-service reported that according to operational data, the total cargo turnover at the port «Yuzhny» for the 9 months amounted to 29 million 609,21 thousand tons, which amounted to 83.5% compared to January-September 2015, when the turnover reached 35 million 477,94 thousand tons.

Liquid cargo handled 3 million of 9.61 thousand tons (91.3 % against the indicator of January-September 2015); bulk dry cargo — 25 million 787,02 thousand tons (81,4%); unitized cargo — 812,58 thousand tons (165.3%).

REFERENCE: Sea port «Yuzhny» is a universal port, which specializes in the transshipment of chemical goods and fertilizers, bulk, liquid bulk and general cargo.
