NIKOLAEV, 06 OCTOBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — In January-September the total turnover of the companies operating on the territory of specialized sea port «Oktyabrsk», amounted to 4 million 264,22 thousand tons, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, October 06, in the press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

In a press-service reported that according to operational data, the total cargo turnover at the port for 9 months amounted to 4 million 264,22 thousand tons, which accounted for 85.6% compared to January-September 2015.

Liquid cargoes for 9 months the port handled 36,39 thousand tons (487,2% against the indicator of January-September 2015); bulk dry cargo — 3 million 496,71 thousand tons (90,8%); unitized cargo — 731,12 thousand tons (65.3%).

REFERENCE: Specialized sea port «Oktyabrsk» is located on the left bank of the Dnepro-Bugsky estuary. The port area is 178,8 hectares. The approach of ships to the port is carried out via the Bugsko-Dneprovsko Limansky channel (BDLC). For loading and unloading and maintenance of marine and river vessels the port has 7 berths with a total length of 1.53 km. Depth and length of the mooring line can take vessels up to 250 m, width up to 40 m, with a deadweight up to 80 thousand tons. The declared draught in the port is 10.5 m. Processing capacity of SSP «Oktyabrsk» is up to 5 million tons of general cargo per year.
