Odessa, 14 NOVEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Representatives of Japan International Cooperation Agency visited the Administration of seaports of Ukraine, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, November 14, in a press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

According to the press service, the administration of sea ports of Ukraine was visited by the representatives of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Delegation was headed by Mr. Yuichiro Motomura — CEO of international consulting company PADECO.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities and conditions of lending by the international cooperation Agency of Japan to the infrastructure projects in the ports of Ukraine and international technical assistance projects, public-private partnership in the field of seaports and the issues of its implementation.

Acting Deputy Chairman of SE «USPA» on Finance Nikolay Poltoratsky briefed the foreign guests with the key infrastructure projects in seaports in the country.

«Among key areas of cooperation on the part of USPA, we are considering dredging projects, construction and reconstruction of berths, as well as further development of its own dredging fleet of the enterprise»,— said N. Poltoratsky.

Later, representatives of the Agency will become familiar with the activities of the Odessa, Nikolaev, Illichevsk and «Yuzhny» seaports.
