Odessa, 29 NOVEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Tax Police has identified fraud in Odessa with the import of goods coming under the guise of humanitarian aid, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, on November 29, in the press service of the Head Department GFS in Odessa region.

According to the press service, it was found that the company imported to Ukraine goods (clothes and shoes) under the guise of humanitarian assistance without payment of customs duties and value added tax.

Later on, the imported goods under the guise of humanitarian aid transported to the Odessa region, and then implemented for cash to the population in the retail network of stores. This implementation was carried out without the display in the tax and accounting statements.

As a result of illegal actions, the state budget did not receive a significant amount of taxes.

Within carrying out a pretrial investigation on criminal proceedings, tax police of the Odessa region held 7 authorized searches, during which were seized the documents and tax accounting, cash and material assets for total amount over 350 thousand UAH.
