NIKOLAEV, 28 DECEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — The specialized sea port «Octyabrsk» will conduct repair scooping of operating berths waters North and South Bucket, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, December 28, in the press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

According to the press service, during the explorations in the waters of the marinas North and South of the bucket of SMP «Oktyabrsk» will be removed 99 thousand cubic meters of soil. The last time such work was carried out in the port about 9 years ago in 2007.

The need for the repair work on the digging caused significant silting of the harbor waters.

«The performance of dredging was preceded by a long preparation, obtaining indefinite permission to work in July of this year, a lot of organizational work. Now we hope to finish work before the beginning of the spawning period with the area corresponding to the passport characteristics», — commented on the beginning of works, the head of sea ports authority Yuriy Nakonechny.
