Nikolaev, 05 JANUARY 2017, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — From January 6 in specialized seaport «Oktyabrsk» announced the beginning of ice campaign, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, January 05, in the press-service of the Specialized Sea Port «Oktyabrsk.

As noted in the press service, in accordance with the decree of the captain of the specialized sea port «Oktyabrsk» — the focal point for ice operations in the aquatorium of SSP «Oktyabrsk», from 00:00 on 6 January announced the beginning of ice campaign.

Ice campaign declared in connection with the long persistent decrease in the temperature of air and water and intense ice formation in the Dnieper-Bug region, as well as on the basis of the requirements of the Rules of ice pilotage.

As of 5 January in the port is observed easily passable ice thickness of 5-7 cm, cohesion 5 points.

According to the Hydrometeorological Center of the Black and Azov Seas, already today expected deteriorating weather conditions in the vicinity of the Dnieper-Bug region. So, the day are expected gusts of 6-11 m / s, at night — 14 m / s, wave height — 7-12 dm, but already January 6-7 wind gusts can reach 19-24 m / s.
