Nikolaev, 06 JANUARY 2017, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Due to the deteriorating weather conditions at 0 o'clock on January 6 on the territory of Nikolaev seaport announced the beginning of the ice campaign, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, on January 06, in the press service of the Nikolaev Sea Port administration.

According to the press service, due to intensive ice formation, which creates difficulties for safe navigation in the Nikolaev sea port, to ensure clear and efficient operation of the port, as well as guided by clause 4.2.2 «Compulsory regulations at sea port», the port captain from 0 hours on 6 January announced the beginning of ice campaign in 2017.

The introduction of the ice campaign in the port involves the observance of special conditions and procedures for vessels from the channel to the port.

Ice operations outside and within the waters of Nikolaev seaport tugs will provide «Gaydamak» (branch of «Delta-pilot» SE «USPA»), «Bakai» (Kherson branch of the State Enterprise «USPA») and tugs of nine private enterprises.
