NIKOLAEV, SEPTEMBER, 16TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Universal sea terminal complex «Galitsino» to be built in the Nikolaev region, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this today, on September, 16th, by the general director of Limited Liability Company «Galitsino» Valery Agafonov.

Odessa designers have been conducting working out of the civil-engineering design of a terminal complex in Nikolaev since 2005. Its design capacity is 50 million t cargoes in a year. 9 specialized terminals – container, grain, metal, coal, ore, cement, mineral fertilizers, food bulk products and the ro-ro terminal with capacity of 100 thousand cars in a year are also set to be constructed.

The complex will be built on the Ozharskaya plait between settlements Galitsynovo and Limany. Its area will make 750 hectares. New railway lines and highways will also be constructed here.
