A series of events within the Europe Day are held in Odesa.

“According to the Presidential Decree No. 339 on April 19, 2003, celebrations on the occasion of the Europe Day are held annually in regions of the country. With the support of Governor of Odesa region Eduard Matviychuk in order to promote a common European cultural heritage, familiarizing with European values and traditions, from 13 to 19 May will be celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Europe Day in Odesa. These days with the participation of state and local authorities, interviews, lectures, round table discussions, concerts, children's drawing competitions, quizzes on the Day of Europe and the various aspects of the European Union life, a book exhibition, thematic reviews of the literature, organized cultural public events, will be conducted,” the Head of the Chief Administration for Foreign Economic Activities and European Integration, Odesa Regional State Administration Yevgeniya Volynets noted.
