The chairman of Odessa regional government administration Nikolay Serduk created the workgroup of operation tracing of economic situation in the region and developing of up-to-date events for prevention of the consequences of the world financial crisis.

According to the information of the press-service of Odessa RGA the chairmen of the regional government administrations and city mayors of regional meaning are charged to personally control the economic situation at the main budget generating enterprises of the district (city), introduce the corresponding monitoring and analysis of social-economic indices on permanent basis and also take measures regarding prevention and minimization of possible damage from the financial crisis. The central authority of economic of Odessa regional government administration must inform about the taken measures and problematic questions on the 1st and 15th day of each month.

The head of the workgroup was appointed the first deputy chairman of Odessa regional government administration Maxim Stepanov, the deputy chief of the workgroup – the head of the Central authority of economics of Odessa RGA Oleg Muratov.
